Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak , Shahrul Azam Shaari berkata, ia selaras dengan Perutusan Khas Perdana Menteri yang mengumumkan lanjutan tempoh kawalan pergerakan sehingga 14 April 2020.
“Menjunjung titah Sultan Perak, selaras dengan perutusan serta berpandukan ketetapan Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Perak bertarikh 25 Mac 2020, berkaitan mendirikan Solat Jumaat dan solat fardu secara berjemaah di masjid, surau diri Jumaat dan surau, dimaklumkan ketetapan berkenaan wajiblah dipatuhi semua masjid dan surau di negeri ini sehingga solat Isyak 14 April 2020.
“Tidak dilaksanakan solat Jumaat pada 3 April 2020 dan 10 April 2020, solat Jumaat berkenaan wajib diganti dengan menunaikan solat Zuhur di rumah masing-masing dan tidak dilaksanakan solat fardu secara berjemaah di semua masjid dan surau di negeri ini sepanjang tempoh berkenaan,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di Ipoh, hari ini.
Beliau berkata, semua Jawatankuasa Kariah Masjid dan Surau Negeri Perak hendaklah melaksanakan arahan ditetapkan sehingga tempoh itu.
