It was reported that the move to impose a time limit on the city council’s street-parking facility was to prevent it from being hogged by workers in the area, and improve its availability for visitors instead.
Johary said although the proposed parking-limit was for all its bays, the implementation would be done in phases. He also said that the one-hour parking limit in USJ 10 for a maximum of two hours per vehicle that was already in force would be standardised with the rest of the area.
