There's a vast difference between whistle blower, allegations, character assassination & defamation. One is of good intent whereas others are in bad faith.

If MACC, as an institution, believes in protection for whistleblowers, then it cannot support, legally, morally nor financially, the legal actions taken by Azam against any whistleblower. Azam is free to initiate legal action in his personal capacity.
