The federal government will take into account the views of state governments in a bid to realise the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 and bridge the development gap between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak.
“In fact, the government has engaged with all the state governments in the process of drawing up the 12th Malaysia Plan in order to identify new areas for industries,” he said during the Minister's Question Time session at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today. Earlier, responding to Wong's original question on the differences between SPV2030 and previous government's plans Mohamed Azmin said the new policy was more specific which aimed at increasing the gross domestic product contribution from Sabah and Sarawak.
