PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim II (JDT II) head coach Ervin Boban dedicated the Challenge Cup victory to the team’s owner Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

JDT II won the second edition of the Challenge Cup after edging Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia 6-5 in a penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 on aggregate after extra time at the Cheras Football Stadium on Saturday.

Defender Mohd Fadhli Shas was the hero of the Southern Tigers when he converted the final penalty to hand the trophy to JDT II.
