PETALING JAYA: Spas, wellness centres, massage centres as well as various tourist attractions will soon be allowed to reopen, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

"Spa operations, wellness centres, and massage centres are allowed to reopen with customers and operators who have been fully vaccinated beginning Oct 1.

"Tourism centres and attractions such as zoos, plantations, aquariums, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing tours and eco parks are also allowed to operate at all NRP phases effective Oct 1," he said in a statement on Wednesday .The relaxation of the Covid-19 restrictions, Ismail Sabri said, was decided after the Special Committee on Pandemic Management meeting on Wednesday.

He added that grocery stores, mini markets, restaurants, petrol stations and convenience stores are allowed to operate from 6am to 12pm effective Sept 23.
