NEW YORK: Sony Pictures sekali lagi menangguhkan tarikh tayangan filem paling dinantikan ramai, Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Lapor ABC News, penangguhan tersebut adalah disebabkan penularan wabak Covid-19 melibatkan varian Delta yang semakin mengganas di Hollywood. Filem tersebut yang sepatutnya mula ditayangkan pada 24 September ini terpaksa ditangguhkan ke 15 Oktober depan.Sedutan Venom: Let There Be Carnage yang telah ditayangkan secara rasmi di platform Youtube minggu lalu kini menerima 27 juta tontonan.

Sekuel kepada filem pertama, Venom ini masih mengekalkan Tom Hardy sebagai peneraju utama disamping Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Amber Sienna dan ramai lagi. Venom yang ditayangkan pada 2018 menjadi antara filem paling berjaya tahun itu dengan rekod kutipan mencecah AS$856.1 juta.
