Academician Dr S. Santharasekaran was the first to arrive at 8.20am on Saturday followed by acting Tanjung Malim Umno division chairman Mohd Zaidi Aziz at 8.57am and lawyer Amir Khusyairi Mohamad Tanusi two minutes later.
All of them were required to register at the counter and had their body temperatures taken before entering the hall. The nomination process started at 9am and will last for an hour before the returning officer is to expected to make an announcement.
