PETALING JAYA: An anti-drink driving operation by the police saw six people arrested after they were found to had been driving under the influence of alcohol.

District OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said that the operation was conducted from Friday 11pm to early Saturday morning.“Throughout the operation, 184 road users and 159 cars were inspected. Six men were arrested after they were found driving while over the alcohol limit.

“Based on our observations, it is clear that many still drink before operating a vehicle. This is viewed as endangering not only yourself but other road users as well, ” he said in a statement on Saturday.Article type: free
