Single wholesale network for 5G rollout will lower costs, says expert

SETTING up a single wholesale network for 5G rollout will lower network costs as the spectrum will be used more efficiently, said a telecommunication expert. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia adjunct Professor Tharek Abdul Rahman said a single provider for the application of SWN by Digital Nasional Bhd would prevent duplication of resources and fair usage of the spectrum by all network operators.
