Singapore unveils another S$33 billion budget to fight Covid-19

Singapore has allocated another S$33 billion to fight Covid-19, bringing the total amount of money set aside for the pandemic to nearly S$100 billion. – EPA pic, May 26, 2020.

SINGAPORE today announced its fourth budget known as the “Fortitude Budget” worth S$33 billion for the next phase of its fight against Covid-19. According to the republic’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat, jobs are the central focus of this supplementary budget.
