Singapore’s Ministry of Health said in a statement that the data showed that the vast majority of new cases involved migrant workers residing in dormitories. Singapore, which announced yesterday that it has revised the discharge criteria for Covid-19 patients, saw 1,018 more Covid-19 cases discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.The revision will see those assessed to be clinically well by Day 21 of the onset of illness discharged without the need for further polymerase chain reaction tests.

So far, 510 confirmed cases are still in hospitals with seven in intensive care. To date, 23 have died.
