Despite getting up to no good all the time, all Shrek wanted was to be showered with affection – morning, noon and night. FMTNews FMTLifestyle Pets Cats

Just as there are two sides to a coin and a story, Shrek the ginger cat had two contrasting personalities that Liyana said livened up the atmosphere at home.“He liked to follow my mother and me everywhere we went. He would run circles around our feet before we went up the stairs, begging us to pick him up and cradle him,” Liyana tells FMT.

While this might have thrilled any owner, Liyana suspected that this was a ploy on Shrek’s part, as he probably wanted to sneak out of the house. Liyana recalled that whenever Shrek was not busy asking to be pampered, he would find delight in terrorising the other house cats, ambushing and wrestling them to his heart’s content. His sibling, Smoky, was his partner in crime.“Smoky and Shrek were good friends; they were as thick as thieves! They were constantly grooming each other.”
