Serbegeth’s son, Sonuljit Singh, 32, said social media users had been irresponsible by blaming the death of the national player, popularly known as Shebby, on the vaccination after a message went viral claiming he had received the booster shot two days before his death.
“But the doctors told us the cause of his death was 99% related to a heart attack as his post-mortem showed three of his coronary arteries having blockages. All his vital organs were in perfect working condition and there were also no signs of an allergic reaction,” he was quoted as saying to news portal Free Malaysia Today on Jan 15.
“His father, siblings and many of his relatives have a history of similar ailments which makes them all fall in the high-risk category,” said Sonuljit.
