Public Bank recently introduced an app which aims to assist parents in inculcating a savings habit in their children.

has recently introduced a new mobile application, the PB Journey Mobile Application which aims to assist parents in inculcating a savings habit in their children and educating them on financial planning.

The Journey App, which is specially designed for parents and children, comprises of two modules, the Pocket Money module and Goal Setting module where these features aim to create interactive learning between parents and children on the value of money and also achieving their savings goal. Parents are also able to monitor their children’s app activities including pocket money balance and goal savings progress via mobile banking, ie, PB engage.

In addition, educational videos are available in the PB Journey App to educate children on financial planning and awareness on the importance of savings.
