The meeting was called by Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari, who is the Sungai Tua assemblyman, to discuss the current political scenario.
According to an assemblymen who attended the meeting, Amirudin made it clear that he stood with Anwar and PKR. Many of the assemblymen who had attended a gathering at a hotel on Sunday evening comprising PKR leaders from Azmin's faction, together with Bersatu, PAS and Umno leaders, were also at the meeting with Amirudin.
The assemblyman said Amirudin also told them he would be having an audience with Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah later in the day.
