HANOI: The Malaysia Under-23 football team have qualified for the Vietnam SEA Games semi-final after Thailand thrashed Cambodia 5-0 yesterday in the other Group B game.

Malaysia stay top of the group with seven points and will secure the top spot if they beat Cambodia in the final group game at the Thien Truong Stadium on Monday .

Thailand are second with six points and will surely hope that Malaysia drops points against Cambodia if they want to secure the top spot. But they also need to beat Laos in the final group game to ensure they stand a chance of getting to the top.
