In the statement, Wong had alleged that the state had given the national oil corporation a massive discount on SST on petroleum products and had given up the state’s rights on petroleum for a sum of RM2bil.Wong, who has held the Bawang Assan seat since 1991, is facing a five-cornered fight against Gabungan Parti Sarawak candidate Robert Lau Hui Yew, Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Michelle Ling Shyan Mih, DAP’s Amy Lau Bik Yieng, and Independent Ricky Enteri.
