KUCHING: He planned to stand in the Tanjong Datu seat but Ali Seman Ibrahim got cold feet and decided to not submit his nomination papers.

The Independent candidate had arrived at the Lundu community hall at 8.45am on Monday to submit his nomination papers. But a few minutes before the nomination process closed, he decided to pull out, citing lack of confidence.
