SIBU: The substantial increase in voters in the Nangka constituency is prompting GPS candidate Dr Annuar Rapaee to work hard to convince voters to vote for him.

Speaking at a media conference on Sunday , the two-term assemblyman said when he started contesting in the 2011 election, the number of voters was 14,000, but it increased to 18,000 in the 2016 polls and 23,000 in this 12th Sarawak state election.

A cardiologist by profession, Dr Annuar said he would not be complacent either especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. "I have been working since the last five years. People know that and I don't have to prove it," he said.
