Sarawak on track to reopen tourism activities, says retail, trade group

SARAWAK is on track and on point with the management of the Covid-19 pandemic within the state to be well-placed to open its domestic tourism within the year, said the Retail and Trade Brands Advocacy Malaysia Chapter . RTBA Malaysia managing director Fazli Nordin said even though the pandemic had caused devastating impact on global and regional economies, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee’s vigilance and watchfulness, coupled with the collective understanding of Sarawak folk, had enabled the state to weather the storm.
