SARAWAK Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg has launched mobile banking services for rural residents in the state. Speaking to the media after the launching ceremony today, Abang Johari said the scheme was costing the Sarawak government RM1.6 million, including RM200,000 to four banks – Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional , Agro Bank and RHB Bank – to subsidise the purchase of armoured vehicles, each worth RM500,000.
