Yoursay: Why should gov’t help rich developers instead of rakyat?YOURSAY | ‘Are Zuraida and her ministry pro-rakyat or pro-developers?’ It is spin off that the gov is looking for. Not helping the developers. What good does it do to country when companies are winding up? Think of the bigger picture not just a rich developer. If rich developer make money, they pay tax. Whereas poor people don't pay any tax. those houses would have been sold by now if there are local buyers. offering them to international buyers will bring in money from overseas. this is nothing new in other countries as well. btw, many homes in msia are already owned by foreigners.
