The state MCA liaison committee chairman Datuk Ng Chok Sin said the Pakatan Harapan state government should not tolerate any abuse of power or offences committed by its political appointees.
“Action should be taken against him based on the law, party ethics and MBSA’s code of conduct to serve as a deterrent to others, especially political appointees, as they should obey the law and fulfil the trust placed on them, ” he said in a statement on Sunday . “As a city councillor, he should be more familiar with the laws as well as local council regulations and guidelines.
“Failure to act will render MBSA and the Selangor Pakatan government as practising favouritism, ” he added.
