18 state lawmakers who defected stood for elections again, seven lost.

A key component of Warisan Plus' Sabah campaign has been its call for voters to "slay" the "frogs" - the colloquial term for lawmakers who "hop" from one party to another.

In total, 18 state lawmakers who defected after being elected in 2018 stood for elections again yesterday. The losers include five candidates who stood as independents - Anita Baranting , Musbah Jamli , Kenny Chua , Abdul Rahman Kongkawang , and Saddi Abdul Rahman . As for Abdul Muis, he is the Sebatik incumbent. He secured only 35.8 percent of the vote, losing to the same Warisan opponent Hassan A Gani PG Amir who won the seat by securing 44.58 percent of the vote.

Stupids... too many

So Sabahans elect the person & not party? Yet Upko fared badly because of this?

Yang depa undi katak...hehehe... Nak cakap apa lagi...ada yg sampai ati nak sokong BN...aku dah tak paham apa prinsip hidup oghang camtu...

Congratulations Sabah now you have a State Government mirroring the Federal where registered parties with biggest votes are cast aside with parties with lesser votes loosely forming a bloc under the so called PN. Many other states are in this format. New norm?

Wow Just like that PH step on Sabahan head Just wow PH at it weirdest!

Sabah voters sent a clear message, once again. Smart pollies focus on community's needs from bottom of this pyramid, not from the top. If a katak brings foods to their table and shelters you'll more certain to get their payback. Basic human physiological needs. OB 101, remember?

Not kind at all. UPKO, the biggest katak who jumped from BN to Warisan/PH after GE14 was decimated. Warisan's 'Katak kita jadikan pusas' campaign definitely effective. Unfortunately it became friendly fire towards UPKO instead.

Sabahan can accept $$$ now, you children and next generations will suffer onwards.

Jadi lembu lagi kena tarik hidung.. pedulilah kau org sabah yg penting kami bukan org sabah yg mengharap dedak..

Congratulations to sabah voters.

You're being nice. Ckp je la, sabah voters are kind to frogs. 😂

Yakah.. kind? UPKO only won 1 seat madius tangau failed to won kiulu seat.. you should analyze more..

More important issue is who the Sabah Governor should appoint as Sabah chief minister.
