Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal berkata sumbangan terbabit adalah kerjasama yang sudah dizahirkan antara kerajaan negeri bersama Konsulat China di Sabah.
“Saya juga sudah memaklumkan berkaitan perkara ini kepada Menteri Luar Negeri, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein. Ia turut meliputi bantuan kepakaran yang kita sudah minta daripada republik sama supaya boleh membimbing dan melatih semua petugas perubatan seperti doktor serta jururawat yang ada bagi menangani wabak ini,” katanya.
“Bagaimanapun, kita sudah mengenalpasti pendekatan yang membolehkan kita membendung masalah ini dari terus berlarutan.
