Sabah in need of more halal certified companies

Only a tiny fraction of Sabah companies are Halal certified, a statistic the Halal Development Corporation is keen to change. – EPA pic, August 20, 2019.

SABAH will be working with government agencies to ensure more local entrepreneurs obtain halal certification. Sabah Trade and Industry Assistant Minister Azhar Matussin said only 204 of 55,000 Sabah companies were halal-certified as of end-2018.
