Sabah Health and People’s Wellbeing Minister Frankie Poon says the 35-year-old woman has been placed under home quarantined. FMTNews Sabah Covid19

A lab technologist attached to a hospital in Kudat is being tested for Covid-19.

Poon said the woman, aged 35, has been placed under home quarantine as a person under investigation for the next 14 days. The text said the woman had gone to South Korea for five days since Feb 15 with several friends and on returning, showed symptoms such as coughing, fever, flu, migraine and a sore throat.“Hopefully by tomorrow morning I would get the full report ,” Poon said when contacted.

“Before a person is considered a suspect of Covid-19, he or she has to fit the criteria as determined by the health ministry. This includes travel to China.
