Its chief Liew Chin Tong said Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi stated that Johoreans would receive the 10kg rice aid before May 31.
Liew, who is Perling assemblyman, however added the state government created more problems when excluding Opposition assemblymen in the implementation of the programme. Liew said Pakatan Harapan and Muda assemblymen had, in a joint statement on April 28, called for the Johor government to involve Opposition assemblymen elected by the people in the administrative process.
“If the state government refuses to do so, for the sake of the people of Johor, at least announce the rice distribution information including the location and time of distribution as well as the telephone numbers of the Barisan coordinators appointed so that the people can receive 10kg of rice from the state government as soon as possible, before May 31, as promised by Onn Hafiz,” he added.
