Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the state government had agreed to provide a total of RM9.6mil to about 8,000 civil servants of all grades in the state.

"This special financial assistance will be paid on April 20 before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. "The assistance this time has been increased by RM200 compared to the RM1,000 given last year," he said on Thursday . Wan Rosdy said the payout was possible because the state government was in a stable financial position."I hope this can ease the burden of Pahang civil servants in preparing to celebrate Aidilfitri later. However, spend it prudently and frugally.

"I also hope that this incentive can inject spirit and motivation into Pahang civil servants to improve their work performance and serve with excellence," he said.
