At 6pm, the local note depreciated to 4.2240/2270 against the greenback from Friday’s close of 4.1900/1940. He pointed out that the turning point for the ringgit also remained less clear as global risk aversion comes to the fore as Covid-19 cases were reported to be increasing exponentially abroad.
