Jangli, a former staff member of the narcotics unit of the Kota Belud police station, was charged with accepting a total of RM650 bribe from a man between Oct 6, 2016 and March 3, 2017.
Both accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge of accepting bribes involving a total value of RM4,400. He was allowed bail of RM10,000 with a deposit of RM5,000 with one surety and surrendered his passports.
