To give assurance that Huawei smartphones will still be able to run Google apps and services, several distributors and dealers in the Philippines are offering a full-refund program that covers new Huawei smartphones and tablets. This means if your Google Play Store, Gmail, YouTube or even Facebook stops working, you can demand a full refund for your device.

Initially, it was reported that the campaign was from Huawei Philippines but several media outlets have updated that it is actually an initiative of their authorised distributors and dealers. The full refund campaign is seen as a move to provide greater peace of mind for potential customers and it covers a period of two years., the two-year guarantee is valid for phones and tablets purchased between 15th June to 31st August 2019 in the Philippines.
