KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 — Parti Pejuang Tanah Air has not ruled out supporting any of the main contenders to be the next prime minister, party president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said.
“[Pejuang] is prepared to work with PN, this is not something we can avoid in order to secure the numbers,” he was quoted as saying by Astro Awani. He said his party hoped that PH would continue working to secure the needed support and inform Pejuang once this has been achieved in order for matters to proceed.Umno vice-president Ismail is the main contender from the PN side while PH has reiterated that it was fully behind Opposition leader Anwar.
Mukhriz added that Pejuang would only refuse to support the so-called “court cluster”, the moniker given to Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and former PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s faction of the party.
Anyone from PN cannot be because they are part of a failed goverment.Anwar cannot be PM until he sue's the pants off Saiful Al Juburi.Otherwise he is in the same boat as semburit.I guess Shafie will be the first PM from east Malaysia.

To rephrase this… I’ll support the one who has most numbers, so that I can be part of the ruling party, demand for post and stay in power…. U choose who to support based on ur party’s principles and with people’s interest in ur heart.
If you study carefully, he will demand a big price like important Ministerial post later.
