| Malaysia's flagship budget airline AirAsia Group Bhd is seeking a government loan as the industry suffers amid the coronavirus outbreak,The aviation tycoon Tony Fernandes said the airline was in discussion with the government for a loan to support its current cash position to ride out the challenging operating environment.

"We think the cash can last us for the most part of this year and if sales return, then we're okay. But it'd be great to get a loan as well and we're working on that with the government," he said.

Industri berasakn orang luar masuk orang dalam keluar (pilih cth mudah) tutup sempena pandemic.

Seriously. This is the richest company in the world. Ask their top top management pump back their money. Sell back the Ferrari, BMW, Range Rover, and their aircraft, they can survive without govm support. I know ive been with them before.

I think a lot , and I mean a lot of jobs are at stake here. You won't get profitability from the loan..about saving jobs.

Rasanya kerajaan akan menimbangkan permintaan Air Asia.. kitajagakita

Don’t you ever wonder where d profits of big companies/GLCs go in good times? Yeah, they give themselves big fat bonuses, payout huge dividends 2 share holders but don’t keep a sen 4 rainy days. Then when they r in shit they go 2 d gov? No they go 2 the tax payers that’s d gov!

Dah kaya dah. Kenapa kerajaan nak sara.

.aax_ir Air Asia has a net cash position of RM2.2 BILLION. Tony Fernandes admits this will last ‘a while’. A govt loan means its limited funds will be diverted from those really in need. This is a very bad look. No amount of advertising will mitigate the negative perception

Airport tax mana

Hello pump back your dividend la! Declare billions in dividend syok only.

Give one valid reason why a private business deserve a bail out! Do they share their profits and gains with the people? If they do then, and only then the public will share their loss! Corporate SCUMS!

ha ha. Bila untung puak2 dia sahaja dapat. Bila rugi mahu duit kerajaan. Senang meniaga.

MuhyiddinYassin tak perlu layan AirAsia !! Mereka dah Untung banyak

Save people’s lives first. Big corporates can go jerk off first and queue up at the far, far, FAR back end.
