Sarina had granted a one-day remand order for the six suspects on Sunday pending the extension application.
The suspects, aged 27 to 54, have been detained to help with the probe into the murder of the 47-year-old moneylender which took place at Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2 on Saturday . South Klang police chief Asst Comm Shamsul Amar Ramli said the men were picked up from Klang and Banting from 6.30pm on Saturday until 2am Sunday.
The deceased was set upon by three machete-wielding men when he was walking to his MPV after having had lunch with his sons aged 18 and 10.The moneylender had tried to escape but collapsed and died in front of a neighbouring restaurant.The reason behind the attack, according to the police, is suspected to be jealousy.
