The Redmi Buds 3 Pro is now available in Malaysia. It has ANC, transparency mode, wireless charging and up to 28 hours of total music playback.

Xiaomi’s lineup of true wireless earbuds have so far been reasonably well received by Malaysians, and if you like them you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a new pair of them in town: the Redmi Buds 3 Pro.

It’s big feature is the hybrid active noise cancellation via built-in dual microphones to sense and filter out background noise. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro are able to cut out up to 35db of surrounding noise by generating anti-noise sound waves. Though not much as it only reduces 35db—a normal quiet office is already 50db—ANC is likely still a feature most would prefer having. You’ll be able to change between 4 ANC modes for different surroundings, and there’s a further two transparency modes too.

On top of that, it uses Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity which also means you get dual-device connectivity with these earbuds. This lets you connect the Redmi Buds 3 Pro to both your phone and laptop at the same time for example, and simply switch between whichever device you want to use. As for audio, it supports the SBC and AAC audio codecs, and you should be able to use it up to 10m away.

Xiaomi claims that you’ll have up to 6 hours of use with the earbuds, which can be stretched to 28 hours via the charging case. However, those figures are only with noise cancellation off at 50% volume, so if you have ANC on you might find battery life to be lower. If you’re in a hurry, a 10 minute charge ought to get you 3 hours of listening, while the case itself can be charged by either a USB-C cable or wirelessly.

There’s also IPX4 water resistance too as well as touch controls on each earbud. In the box, you’ll find the earbuds, charging case, three extra pairs of ear tips in different sizes and a charging cable. The earbuds and case itself come in two colourways: Graphite Black or Glacier Gray.
