Following four successfully run programmes at the Church of the Assumption, Petaling Jaya — two in-person sessions , one hybrid , and one online , Landings Malaysia facilitated its first eight-week session at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes , Klang from June to August this year. The weekend included Praise and Worship sessions, sharing by lay leaders, an examination of conscience, Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, Sacrament of Reconciliation, walking recitation of a Rosary, burning of petitions, Holy Mass, and sharing of testimonies.
“In family, in community, and church, this is a recipe for disaster, as there is mistrust among family members and members of the community. It will wreak havoc with all church initiatives, with Synodality, and even with our thematic material because we believe that communion, participation, and mission are our paradigm. None of the above may function when we have deepseated insecurities and irrational fears.
