Rat poo, dead lizards found during check on popular Penang eatery

An inspection by Penang Health Department personnel found rat droppings near the food-preparation area of a popular Chulia Street restaurant. The eatery was ordered closed yesterday. – EPA pic, July 11, 2019.

A POPULAR eatery in George Town’s Chulia Street has been ordered closed after a health inspection found rat droppings and dead lizards near the food-preparation area, reportsIt is the second time the restaurant has been sealed by the Penang Health Department, the first being in July last year.
