To raise awareness and funds, independent yoga studio One Earth Yoga will be hosting an event on Jan 29 at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

Their future is at stake due to poaching, illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss because of deforestation and fragmentation, as well as overhunting of the tiger’s main prey.

To raise awareness and funds, independent yoga studio One Earth Yoga will be hosting an event on Jan 29 at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.Entitled “Welcome the Year of the Tiger”, it will run from 8am to noon with back-to-back yoga classes taught by registered teachers.Funds collected will go towards Perhilitan’s conservation programme which focuses on captive breeding of the tigers and their prey, along with rehabilitation, rewilding and release.

The money will also be used for awareness programmes, enforcement to patrol hotspots for illegal poaching as well as to investigate illegal activities.
