he government is considering regulations to put in place once the movement control order is lifted.

PUTRAJAYA: The government says it will announce new standard operating procedures for different zones to be applied once the movement control order has been lifted. Senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government understood that businesses such as car workshops would need to open, and that people might wish to visit hair saloons or laundry outlets.“There may be fewer restrictions, but this needs to be discussed.”

For instance, he said, the government would look at areas where people are allowed to enter, and those where movement is prohibited. “Factories in green zones, can they still operate? What if the workers are from a red zone? Then they may turn the green zone into red too,” he said.
