“Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Johor tetap dengan pendirian dan menjunjung titah Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar yang mahukan semakan dan pentafsiran penghakiman perlu diteruskan demi mendapatkan semula kedaulatan Johor,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini. Baru-baru ini Dr. Mahathir dalam satu kenyataan di Facebooknya menafikan apa yang beliau sebut dalam satu kongres pada Ahad lalu berkaitan tuntutan terhadap Singapura dan Kepulauan Riau.
Bulan lalu, Sultan Johor berkenan menerima laporan Pasukan Petugas Khas yang ditubuhkan Kerajaan Persekutuan bagi menyemak isu-isu dan tindakan perundangan berhubung kes Pulau Batu Puteh, Batuan Tengah dan Tubir Selatan.
