KUCHING: Parti Sarawak Bersatu president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh says he will resign from the state Cabinet, after meeting Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.
"As to when it will take effect, I will have to discuss it with the Chief Minister," he told a press conference here on Monday . "I can't just walk away like that. But I'm sure the Chief Minister will have the wisdom to handle the financial affairs of the state," he said.The party, which is not part of the ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak coalition, was rocked by its exclusion from the new list of councillors for local authorities in the state last week.
