The 34-year-old woman was found sleeping in a room with two of her children – aged 1 and 2 – during the raid on her home in Kuala Besut, here.The couple’s urine tests returned positive for methamphetamine, Besut Nada chief Nor Hafizza Mat told Bernama today.
It is learnt that the woman, a mother of six, has been a drug addict for 13 years; while her husband, a fibreglass boat builder, has been a druggie since he was 19-years-old. She added that the operation took place at several locations in Besut from midnight to 11am today, and that all 10 suspects are aged between 15 and 34.
Nor Hafizza said that the case is being investigated under Section 3 of the Drug Dependants Act 1983 ; and Section 8 of the same act.
