The policeman from the Mobile Patrol Vehicle unit took to feeding stray cats that were left to fend for themselves.

Pictures of Shahrul, attached to the Dungun police headquarters, attending to the cats were shared on PDRM’s Facebook page, which garnered positive comments and praises from the public. Facebook user Sharifah Jabbar thanked the kind-hearted policeman and urged more people to help stray animals during the MCO.

“We cannot go outside and help them… I hope more officers from other contingents will emulate Shahrul,” said the animal lover. Another user Nzrhsln Yie also praised the policeman who not only cared about the people but went the extra mile to feed stray cats.
