JOHOR BARU: The statements of the three divers, who were rescued after going missing off Pulau Tokong Sanggol, will be recorded after they recover, says Johor police chief.

"At the moment, the victims are still traumatised by the whole experience. They are also still recovering.

"We will record their statements once they have recovered to assist in the ongoing investigation," said Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat."We will also be investigating if there was any negligence during the diving activities that may have led to the incident. "This includes the diving credentials of the instructor and whether all standard operating procedures of the training were followed," he said.

Diving instructor Kristine Grodem, 35, from Norway, was found on Thursday while British national Adrian Peter Chesters, 46, and French Alexia Alexandra Molina, 18, were found early Saturday . Earlier, Adrian, who is the father of the fourth victim, confirmed that his 14-year-old son, Dutch citizen Nathan Renze Chesters, has died.
