Federal police Internal Security and Public Order Department director Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abullah Sani said the issuing of the compund notices was in line with the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.The compound will be issued at the police station and not at the roadblocks.

“For those who refuse to pay upon receiving the compound, they can request for prosecution," he told a press conference at police headquarters Bukit Aman, here, today. “Don’t take this lightly as there is no discount for the offences. It's not worth paying the compound. Adhere to the MCO and stay at home," he said.
