PM worried about Batu Sapi, S'wak polls, says only emergency can delay them

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has expressed concern that the upcoming Batu Sapi by-election in Sabah, and a possible Sarawak state election, could worsen the spread of Covid-19.

However, he said the Federal Constitution and Sarawak state constitution dictates that elections must be held if a seat falls vacant or if the state assembly is dissolved."Unless an emergency is declared as per Article 150 in Batu Sapi and Sarawak, then we can postpone both elections until the Covid-19 ends...

Yidin is clearly lying. He is not worried about Batu Sapi. He is just trying to justify his action that day pushing for emergency. Fortunately, majority rakyat not stupid. Just resign, and let other capable leader recover this nation. MuhyiddinOut

No need elections in Batu Sapi. Just concede the seat to Warisan!

Sarawak elections - have until Sept 2021. There is no need for emergency. And Batu Sapi polls, just let Warisan retain it. See, easy solve without Darurat.

BATU SAPI kerusi PH. Lepaskan lah tanpa tanding. Apa susah sangat. ?Umno dll dah setuju kenapa PBS tak nak dengar. PBS bukan parti PN ke? Sarawak duduk buat satu sesi KHAS tunda PRN. Semua setuju apa susah.
