KOTA BHARU (Bernama): The 7th Battalion of the General Operations Force (PGA7) seized goods worth nearly RM5mil, involving 113 cases, during a month-long operation code-named 'Op Benteng Covid-19” along the Malaysia-Thai border since last June.

KOTA BHARU : The 7th Battalion of the General Operations Force seized goods worth nearly RM5mil, involving 113 cases, during a month-long operation code-named"Op Benteng Covid-19” along the Malaysia-Thai border since last June. PGA7 commanding officer Supt Azhari Nusi, in a statement today said a total of 95 individuals were arrested, comprising 81 local residents and 14 Thai nationals.

He said the goods seized included drugs, clothing, food stuff, cigarettes and vape liquid, 63 cows and 50 goats. "The cases included 20 involving seizures of controlled items, namely flour, cooking oil, diesel and petrol worth worth RM380,695.""The PGA will continue to intensify patrols to avoid trespassing and cross-border crimes into the country,” he added. - Bernama
