“Ini menimbulkan persoalan oleh perunding ke atas peranan Jho Low kerana beliau bukanlah penasihat rasmi TIA. Shahrol Azral berkata Jho Low juga telah memintanya untuk melihat ‘Surat TIA Berhad Bertarikh 27 Mac 2009 Kepada Najib Razak’ dan menandatangani surat tersebut atas kapasitinya sebagai Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif TIA pada masa berkenaan.
“Di dalam surat ini, ada dinyatakan tujuan atau latar belakang TIA iaitu menjadi Pemangkin Pembangunan Terengganu dan Malaysia. TIA berhasrat untuk mempunyai tabung sebesar RM11 bilion. Dana ini datangnya dari terbitan bon yang dijamin oleh Kerajaaan Persekutuan dan juga royalti minyak Kerajaan Negeri Terengganu,” katanya.
